Dwayne 'La Roca' Johnson sorprendió este martes a sus seguidores en Instagram al compartir un divertido vídeo en el que confirmaba la participación de David Hasselhoff en la adaptación cinematográfica de Los Vigilantes de la Playa.

De este modo, la película recuperará al mítico Mitch Buchannon que conquistó a la audiencia en la serie de los 90. Aunque se desconoce qué papel interpretará finalmente Hasselhoff, el actor se une oficialmente a un elenco liderado por Dwayne Johnson, Alexandra Daddario y Zac Efron.

"Es un placer darle la bienvenida oficialmente al original‬ 'vigilante de la playa', David Hasselhoff, a nuestra película", escribe The Rock en el texto. "‪Es el vigilante de la playa más exitoso de todos los tiempos y desde el día que anunciamos que íbamos a convertir la serie en una película, "el Hoff" ha sido nuestro mayor apoyo", sentencia.
